SecureCloud GmbH has been named “Service Champion 2026” by DISQTrust. With a score of 79 out of 100, the cloud provider based in Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz, Bavaria, significantly exceeds the 70-point threshold required for the award.
Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, June 2026 – SecureCloud GmbH has been named “Service Champion 2026” by DISQTrust. With 79 out of 100 points, the cloud provider from Neumarkt i.d. Oberpfalz, Bavaria, significantly exceeds the 70-point threshold required for the award. DISQTrust is a brand of the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), based in Hamburg, which has been evaluating the service quality of German companies for two decades in cooperation with media partners ntv, F.A.Z. Institut, and DUP UNTERNEHMER. The award is based on a data-driven analysis of four evaluation criteria, each worth a maximum of 25 points: recommendation rate, website, online service elements, and customer service. This marks a second external validation of SecureCloud’s market position in the German market for sovereign cloud solutions, following the “Digital Champion 2026” award received at the beginning of the year.
“Cloud solutions for regulated industries handling sensitive data are a vital part of our digital infrastructure. Service is therefore not just an afterthought, but a crucial component of the actual service,” says Marcus Müller, CEO and founder of SecureCloud. “Our customers rightly expect the highest security and compliance standards, but also personal responsiveness, clear explanations, and transparent support throughout the entire duration of our collaboration.” Anyone who moves sensitive data, collaborative processes, or signature workflows to a secure cloud environment expects more than an anonymous hotline and a standard process. Müller: “This is exactly where our understanding of service comes in: security begins with consultation and does not end with the signing of the contract.”
The award is particularly relevant for companies with high regulatory requirements because standards such as the Network and Information Security Directive 2 (NIS2) or the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) explicitly include requirements for managing external service providers. Anyone processing sensitive data in a cloud environment needs not only a technically secure infrastructure but also reliable communication channels, clear responsibilities, and transparent processes for service and support. With its service architecture, SecureCloud specifically targets financial service providers, law firms, healthcare institutions, government agencies, and companies in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Müller: “We view this award as confirmation that our investments in consulting quality, documentation, and personalized customer support are recognized in the market. Especially in an industry where customers expect more than standardized self-service, this distinction is a decisive factor for many regulated customers when choosing a provider. This is an honor for all our employees, who make our solutions what they are.”
Sebastian Deck, Chief Marketing Officer at SecureCloud GmbH, adds: “The methodology behind the award is noteworthy: DISQTrust analyzes publicly available information from a variety of online sources using artificial intelligence and supplements this with structured criteria regarding web presence, service elements, and customer communication.” The evaluation is therefore not based on self-reported information, but on external perception in the market. Deck: “The fact that we achieved an above-average result here with 79 out of 100 points and are well above the champion threshold confirms the strategy we have consistently pursued for years: transparency, technical expertise, and personal accessibility.”
With two awards in quick succession—Digital Champion 2026 in the “Cloud Computing” category and now “Service Champion 2026”—SecureCloud is consolidating its position as a specialized provider for regulated industries. A significant expansion of the service portfolio is planned for the current year.
